"I go to the theatre to be transported; to be asked to think a little differently; to consider a new world. These motivations are the driving forces behind the work I create. Right now, I'm interested in making work that looks at making and performance. In particular, what it takes to create something that can be believed. At the end of the day, I think people just want to see truth onstage, in whatever forms it comes. Within 'Making Belief', I followed my curiosities around artifice, looking for beauty and truth in the act of creating moments that suspend our disbelief."
