Info From Naishi :
Born in Changchun, China, I have received my professional dance training from the Jilin College of Art and furthered my dance training with the Beijing Dance Academy.
In 2004, I came to Canada to continue my dance studies at the School of Toronto Dance Theater and has become a member of TDT since 2006. In TDT, I started to have the opportunity to work with worldwide choreographers such as Peter Chin, Deborah Hay, Thomas Hauert, Christopher House, Alban Richard, Heidi Strauss and Christoph Winkler.
I also worked independently with Allison Cummings, Paul-André Fortier, William Yong and Hanna Kiel for several collaborate projects and performances. I have been nominated for the Dora Awards dance division in 2013 for the Outstanding Performance in “different animals” choreographed by Hanna Kiel. In 2015, I am proud to be part of the Pan AM games opening ceremony as a dancer.
I'm currently a freelance dancer and dancemaker.
